What the settings do

These values come from our guided editors. Defaults are the editor starting values; they do not show the contents of a customer server.

Enable cheats (sv_cheats)

Allows console commands that are normally locked. Disable on public servers.

Setting: sv_cheats
Default: 0

LAN mode (sv_lan)

1 = reachable on local network only (no Steam auth), 0 = public.

Setting: sv_lan
Default: 0

Gravity (sv_gravity)

Gravity in Source units (default 600 ≈ Earth gravity). Lower = floaty, higher = heavy.

Range / options: 0 – 2000

Enable voice chat (sv_voiceenable)

1 = players can talk to each other, 0 = voice chat disabled.

Default: 1

Godmode for all (sbox_godmode)

1 = all players are invincible, 0 = normal damage.

Default: 0

Allow noclip (sbox_noclip)

1 = players can fly through walls (noclip command), 0 = disabled.

Default: 1

Player-vs-player damage (sbox_plpldamage)

1 = players can damage each other, 0 = no PvP.

Default: 1

Max props per player (sbox_maxprops)

How many props a single player may spawn (0 = unlimited).

Default: 200
Range / options: 0 – 2000

Max ragdolls per player (sbox_maxragdolls)

Maximum number of ragdolls a player can create.

Setting: sbox_maxragdolls
Default: 10
Range / options: 0 – 200

Max vehicles per player (sbox_maxvehicles)

How many vehicles a player may own at the same time.

Default: 6
Range / options: 0 – 100

Max NPCs per player (sbox_maxnpcs)

Maximum number of NPCs a player may spawn.

Setting: sbox_maxnpcs
Default: 10
Range / options: 0 – 200

Map

The default map for the server.

Setting: SRCDS_MAP
Default: gm_flatgrass
When it takes effect: Takes effect after saving and restarting the server.

Workshop ID

The ID of your workshop collection (the numbers at the end of the URL)

Setting: WORKSHOP_ID
Default

Gamemode

The gamemode of your server.

Setting: GAMEMODE
Default: sandbox
When it takes effect: Takes effect after saving and restarting the server.

Max Players

The maximum amount of players allowed on your game server.

Setting: MAX_PLAYERS
Default: 32
Range / options: … – 128
When it takes effect: Takes effect after saving and restarting the server.

Tickrate

The tickrate defines how fast the server will update each entity's location.

Setting: TICKRATE
Default: 22
Range / options: 16 – 66
When it takes effect: Takes effect after saving and restarting the server.

Lua Refresh

0 = disable Lua refresh, 1 = enable Lua refresh

Setting: LUA_REFRESH
Default: 0
When it takes effect: Takes effect after saving and restarting the server.

Auto Update

1 = beim Start updaten

Default: 1
